Responsibilities
* End to end development of applications associated with delivery of IT projects in the SAP area
* Understands business and functional requirements and translate it into technical solutions
* Responsible for design, coding, testing and documentation
* Review code and proactively track defects to closure
* Research, analyze and recommend technical solutions which meet the business needs for new projects.
* Participate in Proof of Concept that leads to project proposals and application enhancements.
* Use structured and disciplined approaches to solving problems.
* Innovation, creativity and an outside-the-box mindset are all keys to your success as you work with stakeholders and delve into the real business needs of the client and not just take the face value of what the needs may be.
Requirements
* Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
* Strong SAP development experience with 5 to 6 years in ABAP development
* Hands-on experience in Reports, Module Pool, SAP Scripts, Forms, ALV Reports, BSP, ALE/IDOC, BAPIs, Workflow and Interfaces
* Exposure to SAP functional areas with an understanding of Vistex solution, SAP Finance, Logistics and CRM.
* Experience in implementation, upgrade and support projects
* Understanding of software lifecycle methodology and information systems development with knowledge of SAP client server IT infrastructure (e.g. databases, web servers, applications servers).
* Understanding of release and change management process
* Winning attitude, team player, quality conscious, action oriented with continuous improvement mindset
* Ability to establish strong IT value to the business, accelerate delivery of projects and increase quality
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent work standards and highly motivated
* Excellent oral and written communication skills (interpersonal and client-facing)
