Job Description:
We seek an Oracle Production/Functional Lead that specializes in ITIL, Production Support, Oracle EBS modules: Order Management, Inventory Management, Telesales, and other Oracle EBS modules to support process improvement and daily production issues for the Divisional Management, Agency Admin, Financial Service Centers and Financial Accounting Business groups. The Analyst is responsible for providing user and software support in a production environment. Software support includes programs for software migration, change management, release management, scheduling, and report distribution.
Other responsibilities include:
* Strong understanding of Oracle eBusiness suite and various other Oracle modules and configurations
* Ability and willingness to work with an onshore team.
* Provide first and second level production systems and technical support for our Partners and Vendors
* Reacts appropriately to Severity 1 incidents which may contain issues preventing Customers (title agents) from accessing services * Monitor day to day operations to ensure service reliability
* Flexibility to support the occasional off hours incident.
* Ability to follow defined escalation paths in order to ensure appropriate focus and attention is placed on high priority issues affecting revenue generating and non-revenue generating systems
* Work to meet Expectations in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
* Analyze and properly route requests that are not production support related
* Incident Management- Manage incoming requests or issue resolution via STAT incident management system. Track ongoing progress of incidents. Provide reporting to management on ticket production and status as requested.
* Interface with users regarding support issues
* Build alliances with business analysts, architects, business users and operations vendors to work collaboratively across business segments to meet expected customer service levels.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.
* Strong work ethic, takes pride in professionalism, responsibility and proactiveness.
Mandaotry Skills:
4+ years experience with Oracle (11i and/or R12)
* Minimum 4-8 years prior experience in a large firm or equivalent required
* Strong Experience with the Procure to Pay modules (AP, GL, Fixed Assets & Cash Management)
* Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Visio.
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills in order to communicate with a wide range of internal and external customers.
* Strong understanding and practical application of each stage in full SDLC (Requirement Gathering, Development Awareness, Testing, QA, UAT, Communication, Training, Cut Over, and Post Production Support)
* Contribute to a knowledge base of technical documentation and support users in the accurate and timely resolution of technical problems
* Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service-oriented changing environment
* Goal-oriented individual with a sense of urgency around tangible accomplishments
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Actively contributes to the results of a team and works towards achieving team goals and objectives.
* Ensures compliance to company Standard Operating Procedures. Follow all established SOP"s regarding documentation and information as it applies in company Systems.
* Ability to organize multiple tasks simultaneously and streamline workflow management with a keen sense of urgency
* Constantly updating personal, technical and business knowledge skills
* ITIL Experience/Certification a plus
