Job Title: Software Tester (Must have Logistics Industry experience)
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months

Max Rate: $50/hr on C2C

Responsibilities:

·         Analyze user/business software system requirements and develop appropriate test cases to validate adherence to business rules.

·         Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, quality assurance/control, or a related field. 

·         Write and execute test scripts for comprehensive software testing.

·         Provide application support with logistics experience.

·         Document and analyze test results, provide conclusions, and make recommendations based on findings.

·         Independently perform functional duties for high-visibility or mission-critical programs.

·         Oversee and guide team efforts on specific jobs as required.

·         Develop and execute both manual and automated test scripts.

·         Utilize testing tools such as Selenium and Unified Functional Testing (UFT).

·         Leverage basic to advanced SQL skills for testing purposes.

·         Apply basic UNIX skills and a foundational understanding of API calls.

·         Use defect tracking tools (e.g., Rational, Mercury) and document defects effectively.

·         Author software-quality-related documentation, including requirements specifications, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and reports.

·         Manage change and configuration with tools like ALM, VersionOne, and ServiceNow.

·         Train and mentor less experienced personnel as required.
