Job Title: Senior DevOps Consultant
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Duration: 6 months+
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and translate Software Requirements and Specifications to develop automated solutions for Infrastructure provisioning and maintenance
Develop and manage applications based on the following technologies - Django/ Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Chef and Unix Shell scripting
Utilize CI/CD pipelines for development lifecycles, including code reviews, use case testing, and lifecycle promotions. Tools include Jenkins and Git
Participate in our Agile process working with database, middleware, and storage engineering and operations resources
Use Software Defined Data Center methodologies for implementing automation through the use of vendor APIs and orchestration frameworks
Develop dashboards and reports for capacity representation, analyzing Key Performance Indicators for planning and maintenance of IT Infrastructure
Develop and maintain Python scripts that manage the backend functionality for custom API, tools automation, and to provide front end scripts to push
Create and update architectural/design requirements, technical, and end-user documentation
Be available on on-call rotation for support of deployed application
Perform maintenance and configuration of Unix and Windows systems
Expected Experience:
Experience with Python, Ruby, Bash, Java, Go, and Chef (or similar configuration management tool)
Release Management - Jenkins, Gerrit, Bitbucket, Github, or other code review/revision control systems
MySQL and PostgreSQL database experience
Cloud experience in GCP or AWS environments
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Leadership experience
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
