Platform Architect

Job Description:
· 10+ years demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex business requirements
· Take over the implementation of Openshift container platforms
· 2+ years of experience within the last 4 years using OpenShift v3.7 or above.
· Designing pipelines to perform CI/CD automation across multiple Open Shift Container Platform clusters simultaneously, running on multiple production and non-production nodes.
· Work with the LOB business leaders, application managers, Enterprise IT Architecture, Information Security and LOB Architects to develop and maintain current and future state architecture & sizing for Integration / API Platforms.
· Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies
· Understand various cloud deployment options, networking design options, storage classes, security configuration options in cloud environment
· Capture key non-functional requirements & provide detailed cloud architecture blue print that addresses all major concerns such as high availability, performance, security, resiliency, maintainability etc.
· Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies, microservices as it relates to Application Integrations & API Management.
· Design automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions, with a focus on application concerns, including cloud ready distributed application architectures, migrating workloads to containers, containerized development workflows, and integrating container platforms with automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines
· Experience building large scale cloud platform or services serving millions of transactions. High level understanding of Docker, kubernetes, scalable services and iPaaS.
· Experience in configuration management, infrastructure, and application deployments in a toolset such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible will be a plus
· Experience working with Cloud Platforms such as AWS/Azure
· Ability to provide point of view on various API design choices, platform choices, data modelling decisions with solid reasoning
· Understanding of Mule Anypoint platform architecture with experience of server administration and physical deployment (On Cloud, On Premise and Hybrid) will be a plus
· Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues and defects
· Good understanding/exposure to overall API-Management concepts & fundamentals. Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration and deployment
· Experience in designing & building RESTful APIs and Integration services on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform is desired.
