Job Description (SSAS and Power BI)
Must have SSAS & PowerBI on the resume
• Advanced experience with SQL Server 2008R2/2012/2014/2016, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS
• Proficient in OLTP, OLAP and Data Warehousing Design concepts.
• Experience in Tabular Modeling, MLOAP, Multi-Dimensional Cubes, DAX and MDX (SSAS)
• Identify report data requirements based on existing reports and create comprehensive technical design specifications.
• Go through all existing reports and identify and document all the metrics/Calculations/KPIS used in them to be translated to Power BI
• Analyze and come up with plans to Migrate existing SSRS, Performance Point, Excel Cube reports to Tableau
• Extensive knowledge of Tuning SQL queries, Maintaining Data Integrity and Data Consistency, Performance Tuning and Query Optimization.
• Expertise in creating Dashboard/Reports using Power BI to support end users using SSAS.
• Proficient in building DAX functions in Power BI
• Establish Reporting & Dashboard Governance rules
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
