Position: Sr. AWS Engineer w/ DevOps & BI
Location: Reston, VA
Project: CGI/Fannie Mae
Duration: 6+ Months
Your future duties and responsibilities
The selected candidate is responsible for DevOps design and implementation on AWS for BI and DI products. Responsible to build and maintain modern cloud, continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) environments. This role collaborates with development teams and infrastructure teams to build, maintain and modernize the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline.
• Need solid Devops experience across AWS
• Development, maintenance and operation of CI/CD pipeline software.
• Create self-service and automated tools and testing
• Experience in data processing /Data Warehousing, ETL and Business Intelligence Tools like Microstrategy
• Experience in automating and monitoring all steps of software construction, from integration, testing, releasing to deployment
• Hands on experience working within a Linux/Unix environment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• 2-3 years of DevOps experience, Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI, Bamboo)
• 3-5 years of Business Intelligence products experience
• Experience working with various data source like PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MS-Access, Sharepoint.
• Experience handling large sets of data (data warehousing of Kafka messaging systems)
• Experience working in an AWS environment
• Working knowledge of AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, RedShift
• Good communication skills
• Team player and having a positive attitude
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
