 Position : Cognos Admin

Location : Quincy, MA

Duration : Long-term / FTE

 

•         At least 5+ years of experience in Cognos
•         Hands-on Cognos experience in installing, upgrading Cognos 10.2.2 or Cognos Analytics.
•         Hands on experience in managing application on Linux/Solaris/AIX.
•         Good knowledge in creating shell scripts, automating process in Linux environment.
•         Prior experience in production support projects with knowledge on Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Managements.
•         Knowledge on Cloud Infrastructure is a plus (AWS, Azure, GCP)

 

Position: Sr Cognos BI Developer with Dynamic cube building experience

Location: Marlborough, MA

Duration : Long-term / FTE

 

• 5+ years of BI Development experience required Experience in Cognos 10.x / 11: report studio, Dashboarding, framework manager, administration preferred
• Review Cognos environments for capacity and performance related issues, and take steps necessary to resolve any issues that arise
• Maintain Cognos platform-level security and report security.
• Create Framework Manager Models for Developers
• Optimize joins in framework models to develop and manage the scheduling of reports so the reports run at appropriate times without adverse effects on the servers
• Strong problem solving, and debugging skills in a program development environment.
• Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills.
• Advanced knowledge and expertise with SQL and data warehousing concepts required
• Experience with more than one BI tool is a plus, such as (Qlikview, Tableau etc.)
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Position: Cognos FWM Developer or Architect

Location: Houston, TX

Duration : Long-term / FTE

 

1. Having extensive working experience in Cognos Framework Manager and Report Studio
2. Having extensive working experience in Cognos Analytics.
3. Having experience in creating Cognos Dashboard and Drill Down report for super complex Cognos dash boarding reporting like creating PDF of Cognos dashboard containing static text and charts and graphs having 78 pages.
4. Having ability to gather the requirement from customer, analyze the requirement and convert into technical requirements
5. Worked in high level and low level Cognos dash boarding design, QA support and UAT support.
6. Good Communication skill and extensive customer facing experience. Willing to learn new things.
