Position: AWS Talend Administrator
Location: Reston, VA
Project: CTS/Fannie Mae
Duration: 6+ Months  

Your future duties and responsibilities 
This person is responsible for installation, configuration and administration of Talend on AWS cloud environment. 

• Install Talend Administration Center, Talend JobServer, Talend Runtime , Talend MDM Server, and all other server components. 
• Scheduling and Deployment using TAC 
• TAC installations including ESB, user creations, TAC configurations, All Talend services hands on-Kafka, Job server, Talend ESB configurations 
• Use Docker container to deploy Talend server components like Talend Administration Center, Job Server, Runtime, etc 
• AWS Redshift-Installation 
• Security and Performance enhancement 
• User management – Provision, grant and revoke access to users 
• Monitor metrics such as utilization to identify possible performance issues/enhancements 
• AWS configurations, Create / Debug VM related bugs and make servers up and configure Talend cluster 
• Upgrade server software, work with other groups on infrastructure upgrades/changes 
• Work with project manager as necessary regarding issues such as server down-time 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role 
• 3-5 years of Talend Administration experience 
• 3-5 years of ETL, SQL and PL/SQL experience 
• Experience working with various data source like Oracle, SQL Server, MS-Access, Sharepoint. 
• Experience installing/administering Talend in an AWS environment 
• Working knowledge of AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, RedShift 
• Good communication skills 
• Team player and having a positive attitude 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
