Job Title: ETL SQL Developer/ Data Modeler
Location: Austin, TX- MUST BE LOCAL
Interview Mode: Will do a phone interview then a an onsite final
Job Type: Contract, funded until August 2019 and possibly beyond for an extension
Bill Rate: $60/hr
Status: Open to USC, GC, EAD or H1B Visa, etc.
Job Description:
The ETL Developer / Data Modeler will work with the business area, the business analysts, the development team, and the DBA team to develop a relational data model that represents the business requirements. These requirements must support the new health insurance enrollment system. The ETL Developer / Data Modeler is responsible for building the ETL migration package to read the legacy data, transform this data, and write the results to the new SQL Server database. Additionally, this person must be able to reconcile the movement of data from the source system to the target system.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience with data analysis and relational modeling
• At least 3 years of experience in data migration, ETL, SSIS, and SQL
• Experience in understanding data cleansing process is preferred
• Experience in Power BI is preferred
• Conceptual, logical, and physical Data Modeling and Design skills
• Previous experience in ER/Studio or Erwin design tools preferred
• Great communication and analytical skills
• Prior experience in health insurance is preferred
• Ability to complete requirements and models based on incomplete or insufficient information
• Experience in developing ETL packages necessary to extract data from source systems, transform the data, and properly load the data into the physical database
• Experience in detecting data errors in the ETL process and handling these errors
• Experience in reconciling data counts between the source system and the target system
