Title: Operations Reliability Engineer
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration: 6 months +
Pay Rate: (depending on experience)
- UNIX Systems
- Troubleshoot: Network layer, Storage layer, Application layer, compute layer
- Automation with scripting.
- Hands on experience
- Willing to eventually work 24x7, nights, evenings, weekends etc.
- Project: 24x7 Predix cloud operations. Maintain and provide services on the predix cloud.
**Summary of preferred skillsets called out in feedback of previous candidates submitted.
- Strong experience with scripting, automation or configuration management (Puppet/Chef, etc)
- Linux OS
- Cloud Platform and Technologies experience
- Experience with monitoring tools/platforms or any APM experience
- Vmware experience - Know how to clone an existing vm and how to build an vm from scratch.
- Troubleshooting (on centos OS level), Raid configuration and basic system administration.
- Hands-on experience
- Configuration management, network trouble shooting and automation
- Good understanding of bash scripting
- IaaS knowledge
- Looking for mid-Level SRE -Site Reliability Engineer
