Role: Performance Test Lead

Location: Deerfield, IL

Duration:  Long Term

Responsibilities

·         Build advanced automated test suites to exercise top-notch applications focusing on the response time impact to application, middleware, backend, and infrastructure components.

·         Work with development and product teams to measure, analyze, and help optimize the performance and scalability of new feature releases

·         Develop sophisticated tests that enable applications to perform at optimum levels under complex load simulations

·         Create comprehensive automated end-to-end workflows tests to pinpoint bottlenecks and problem areas; design and execute scalability, stability, reliability, availability, longevity, and model office tests using industry standard tools

·         Performs the execution of the performance testing, problem resolution, data collection and analysis according to the project plan schedule

·         Communicate risks, status, and offer mitigation strategies to roadblocks to ensure commitment dates are met across applications and teams

·         Review capacity plans and production usage statistics to create suitable usage profile and breakpoint analysis to ensure acceptable levels of performance

·         Demonstrate a technical aptitude to do a deep-dive into problem areas and contribute to redesigns that are faster, cleaner, and require less maintenance.

 

Qualification

·         5+ years performance automation experience

·         Understanding of the application functionality and performance requirements along with SLA's defined.

·         Experience with HP Load Runner or similar Load Testing Tool is required

·         Hands-on development experience building new and custom performance test frameworks for single page applications.

·         Strong knowledge of measuring and optimizing client side performance of applications.

·         Experience with JMeter or LoadUI.

·         Exposure to Service Virtualization technology, and Selenium/Jenkins

·         Exposure to any Application Performance Management (APM) tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.

·         Experience testing web services/backend components

·         Excellent understanding of object oriented concepts & coding with Java
