PeopleSoft HCM Functional Analyst, Payroll Benefits Location – Uniondale, NY

Estimated Length: 6-8 months   Overview: This person should be very highly experienced in Peoplesoft HCM 9.x Payroll Module. Functional lead analyst will develop functional specifications related to Payroll, review existing modules, and recommend solutions to enhance/improve current implementations Requirements 10+ years supporting as a Business analyst PeopleSoft Human Capital Module (HCM) 9.0 and above. Good knowledge of Payroll processing, W2, State, Federal, FLSA reporting, ComplexBenefits enrollment knowledge, external interface requirements definitions, excellent communication skills. Good understanding of Oracle databases. Bachelor's degree in IS, Business, or related field Integration knowledge between Time & Labor, HR, Benefits & Payroll modules. 3 Professional References Required Responsibilities Conduct business analysis to develop functional specifications which will enhance processes and departmental efficiency using the PeopleSoft ERP System. Maintain Payroll and Benefits related PeopleSoft product tables. Develop Payroll & Benefits related queries, good knowledge of SQL, SQR, XML Publisher, Crystal Reports. Assist Comptroller Department Payroll director with Payroll processing. Assist Comptroller staff to gain satisfactory comfort level with the ERP software.   Attributes Required Excellent documentation skills. Excellent customer service skills. Strong team contributor, take charge individual, self-motivated, and business oriented Ability to train and tum-over knowledge to internal staff members. Self-motivated independent worker, able to lead initiatives from beginning to end. Ability to present business requirements to the development team, to test and validate the developed solutions.
