Role: SAP FICO Consultant (Min 8 Years Experience)
Job Location: New York, NY
Duration: 9 Months
Skills
• Ability to work on your own, without supervision – planning, prioritizing and controlling own workload
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed project team members
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical skills
• Exposure on SAP Security
Experience
• Several Full cycle SAP FI/CO implementations (US) as lead FI/CO consultant
• Experience of US Federal tax procedures and other US specific requirements
• Expertise in SAP FI/CO module (GL, AP, AR, FA)
• Expertise in FX Revaluation, Intercompany processing and Allocations
Qualifications
• SAP Certification in FI/CO advantageous
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in establishing and maintaining project templates, plans, policies and procedures
• Responsible for monitoring project Risks & Issues
• Lead workshops with Finance users and stakeholders
• Complete Business Process Analysis (Gap Analysis)
• Develop Blueprint for the US implementation
• Adherence to global Finance template
• Liaise with existing SAP Support team to agree design changes and global impact assessment
• Configuration of business processes in SAP FI/CO (New GL, AP, AP, FA, Tax, etc), including global settings and enterprise structure settings
• Master Data creation/maintenance
• Data Migration using tool such as LSMW
• Develop a training plan and documentation for users
• Develop and maintain process documentation for FI/CO processes and tasks
• Identify integration points with 3rd party applications and assist with development of interfaces where required
• Define and assist development of local Reporting
• Provide Training to Key and end users
• Unit, Functional and Integration Testing
• Develop Testing Plan and lead User Acceptance Testing
• Cutover Planning and tasks
• Go Live activities and post go-live support
• Knowledge transfer to existing SAP Support team
• Follow Rothschild standards and procedures
