Job Description :

 

Role : Software Test Engineer in (.Net and C#)

Location : Dallas,TX

Duration : 6+ Months

 

Position Summary:

 

In this role, you will be testing high performance, real-time C#/.NET server code as part of an Agile team implementing a new order execution system

Responsibilities:

•         Test and validate software features as part of an Agile team

•         Understand relevant business requirements with the help of subject matter experts

•         Write and maintain automated test harnesses

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•         Experience with Microsoft Windows API and Visual Studio

•         Experience with C# language, .NET Framework and object oriented design

•         Experience with Fitness, nUnit, CppUnit desired

•         Knowledge of SQL commands, experience with SQL Server database helpful

•         Familiarity working in an Agile environment and embraces structured testing practices such  as automated unit testing, regression testing, TDD and continuous delivery

•         Knowledge of financial markets/trading highly desired

•         Experience working with real-time transactional systems highly desired

 

Education & Experience:

•         Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Mathematics or relevant work experience

•         Minimum 5 years software industry experience.
