MQ Broker Developer
Location: Roanoke, VA
Start Date: 10/12/2015
End Date: 06/30/2016
Required Skills:
PL/SQL, MQ Series
Job Description:
The development includes enhancements and maintenance to Existing MQ Broker applications and services.
There will also be development of new MQ Broker applications and services.
Technical Design documents will be used to outline the changes needed.
These documents will be updated as part of the build process.
The MQ Broker developer will be responsible for updating Design documents, developing code, assisting with test scenario documentation, unit testing, following the client's development standards, producing production support documentation, assist with QA testing process, correct defects found, support deployment, and support during warranty.
The MQ Broker developer will need to estimate expected delivery of assigned work.
The MQ Broker developer will need to status on progress of work in a weekly scorecard meeting as well as maintain scorecard status.
Assigned work will be reviewed and approved for QA based on standards and requirements being met.
Assigned work will be approved for production when the changes are defect free or accepted by business approval.
Minimum Skill Set Requirements:
1. MQ Message Broker 7 or higher
2. Large integration project experience
3. PLSQL experienced.
Preferred / Ideal Skill Set
Requirements:1. IIB9 or IIB10
