Job Title : System Analyst
Location : Chicago, IL
Duration : 6+ Months
Interview: Skype and F2F
The Systems Analyst will be accountable for gathering business requirements, providing high-level design solutions and delivering system requirements by closely working with companies & business stakeholders. The Systems Analyst will perform Requirements Gathering, System Analysis, and produces System High level Design Models and System Specifications. The Systems Analyst will assist in implementation support and system enhancements and must be comfortable executing multiple concurrent tasks. Experience required in requirements gathering and software system design with emphasis on system analysis using RUP, Agile, and UML. Health insurance industry and Claim Processing/Adjudication experience is preferred.
Experience with healthcare projects is a big plus.
Required Skills:
· The candidate must have a minimum of 7 years IT experience focused in software design with emphasis on the following technologies and tasks: UML (Use Case, Activity, State Chart, and Class Diagram), ERD and database normalization options, ETL, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Marts, Cognos.
· Ability to gather requirements from business through appropriate questioning technique
· Ability to query an Advanced RDBMS Database such as DB2, Oracle, and SQL/Server
· Ability to perform database modeling, SQL query
· Knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL tools such as Ab Initio is strongly preferred
· Experience using Requisite Pro, RUP, and Scrum
· Strong analytical skills, team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills
· Experience with Source Control, Requirements Management, and UML Modeling tools (Rational suite or comparable)
