This role typically includes providing consulting to one of the iGATE clients around implementing Financial Planning Processes using Hyperion Planning, Reporting, Essbase technology using ASO/BSO. The high level activities are: - Carried out requirements gathering & analysis for the financial planning & forecasting processes, create HLD / LLD documents and co-ordination for sign-offs - Skilled in performing structured business analysis on medium to large Hyperion Planning, Essbase implementation projects - Must have worked directly with Corporate Finance teams to represent IT on Hyperion design and implementation discussions - Grasp understanding of planning business processes and define Hyperion Planning solution as per the key design considerations - Architecting a solution to be able to implement Hyperion Planning/essbase based global financial planning and consolidation process, consulting around server sizing & technical architecture & Performance optimization - Perform Hyperion Installation and Configuration, infra management - Designing detailed components of the Hyperion Planning solution - Mentoring the development team around complex situations - Client co-ordination and driving discussions for architecture and design sign-offs - Support UAT activites - Support production deployment - Hyperion Planning installation and configuration experience on Oracle Exalytics will be an added advantage - Production Support for ----Minor enhancements and publishing the release calendar ----Handle ad-hoc requests, data discrepancy and emergency requests ----Performing root cause analysis for Severity 1 & 2 issues and submit issue resolution ----Short Term/Long Term fix for production failures of application ----SLA Management (monitoring, tracking, reporting)

 

Required Experience

1.             Overall 8+ years of BI experience with 6+ years on Hyperion Planning, Essbase, ODI and HFR

2.            Demonstrated consulting and implementation experience on Hyperion Planning, Reporting and Essbase technologies

3.            Good Hyperion Planning and Essbase architectural and design concepts (should have executed at least few Life Cycle project)

4.            Good knowledge of financial planning, reporting and consolidation processes

5.            Good oral and written communication skills

6.            Good documentation skills Required Tools knowledge

 

Expert knowledge on:

1.             Hyperion Planning, HFM, Essbase, ODI, HFR, ETL and OLAP tools

2.            OBIEE expertise would be an added advantage
