Job Title : SAP Functional Consultant (SAP Asset Management and GL modules)
Length : 6+month contract
Location : Columbus, Ohio

Client in Columbus, Ohio has an immediate and high profile opportunity for an SAP Financials Consultant to work for. Applicants must have SAP conversion/implementation experience, including SAP Financials module.
Project Detail:
Our client is looking to incorporate locations in Mexico into their SAP Solution. There are 3 locations in Mexico who they need to implement Financials General Ledger and Asset Management capabilities for. SAP environment needs to be compliant with both US and Mexico accounting regulations.
Responsibilities of SAP Consultant:
• Working closely with SAP Financials design team lead, corporate SAP teams, a Finance group in El Paso and technical leads in Mexico
• Defining requirements for the SAP solution
• Supporting implementation and troubleshooting initial usage
Requirements for SAP Consultant:
• SAP Financials conversion and/or implementation experience – primarily within Asset Management (also known as ALM)
• Experience with end-to-end Asset Management implementation in New GL (Parallel ledgers) environment.
• Understanding/exposure to
o Parallel ledger
o Procurement/Payment processes
o Accounting regulations and processes
o Exchange rates
o Financial reporting
• Data conversion and upload into SAP
• Detail oriented, analytical thinker, strong communication
