Job Description for a Tools Developer: Client is looking for highly effective engineers who understand product experience, technology stacks, and deployment topologies. Our north star is: "We enable the business by providing engineering solutions including but not limited to engineering processes, infrastructure improvements, UI/Services frameworks, tools and dashboards".
Responsibilities:
· Lead initiatives focused on building the next generation Grid for automated Testing on mobile devices, which include drivers, including continuous integration/continuous delivery, in a highly available platform.
· Must have hands-on exposure to new technology stacks (Node.JS, OpenStack, Selenium, IOS/Android test harnesses)
· Lead initiatives focused on code architecture, engineering tools development. Work with team architects to define requirements and approach.
· Introduce/improve testing/engineering processes and optimizations across commerce experience.
· Drive both high-level and detailed technical design documents and conduct design reviews. Provide feedback on architectural and implementation enhancements and provide technical guidance to other software engineers.
· Participate actively in team and company-wide architecture discussions.
· Employ technical expertise to help team members overcome technical problems.
· Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.
· Qualified Candidate must have experience automating and tooling for large scale development environments (stage, sandbox, production environment).
· Qualified candidate must have hands on exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery supporting global engineering teams and working in Agile Delivery methodology.
· Hands on exposure in a fast paced internet company, leveraging continuous delivery environments, powered by automated set of tools and workflows.
· Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field and 12+ years of experience
