Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Description
· Experience in IT to support users in Research/Discovery and DMPK with application needs, installation and troubleshooting of assigned applications.
· The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in the Biological or Life Sciences with a basic understanding of applications and processes in DMPK.
· Experience in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry supporting IT.
· Project Management experience a plus.
· Experience working with validated applications or validated platforms a plus
Job Duties
· Serve as a single point of contact within IT for assigned applications
· Interface with users in Research/Discovery to obtain requirements
· Obtain application specifications from vendor and work collaboratively within IT to deploy applications to users in Research/ Discovery
· Obtain quotes, initiate contract requests, follow-up with Legal and Accounting, ensure POs are issued in a timely manner and work with HelpDesk to have applications installed
· Facilitate user-vendor communications, participate in application evaluation, set up training, track maintenance and licensing and assist in troubleshooting
· Assist IT with the creation of Runbooks/ Playbooks
Maintain inventory of applications, licenses, expiration dates and user lists
