Job Description:

ETL Solution Architect / Project Manager (Must have Pentaho experience).  This opportunity is for individuals who have hands-on experience in data warehouse design and development.  The Role demands more than a typical ETL lead role as it interacts outwardly on projects with architects, PM's, OPS, data modelers, developers, admins, DBA's and testers. This is a hands-on delivery-focused role, and the individual will be responsible for overall delivery of data warehouse and data integration projects  

Must have skills

·         > 10 years Hands on experience with Informatica ETL / Pentaho ETL and or other similar tools in designing and developing ETL processes based on multiple sources using ETL tools

·         Formulating and defining the objectives and scope of technology solutions

·         Making recommendations on changes to support business goals

·         Writing project documentations including Project Status

·         Experience in Architecting  end to end ETL solutions

·         Unix and Unix Scripting experience – minimum of 4 years experience

·         Expert at all aspects of relational database design

·         Experience working with engineering team with respect to database-related performance tuning, writing of complex SQL, indexing, etc.

·         Experience with metadata architecture

·         Analyzing and documenting complex business problems and working with all parties involved to provide realistic, workable solutions which promote business and technical efficiencies

·         Able to understand BI reports (Business Objects. ) and conduct analysis

·         Solve user and technology requirements, including designing streamlined workflows and data flows

·         Coordinate testing and support business users

·         Creating process workflow, product workflow and diagrams

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Office, Project, Visio, SharePoint
