Title: Oracle Developer
Location: Atlanta, GA
Type: 12+ Months Contract
Need LOCAL for onsite interview (Phone and Face-to-face interview)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Database Developer is responsible for successful delivery of database solutions. Individual must have ER Modeling experience. In addition, individual should have an aptitude for gaining deep knowledge of the business, and proactively using this knowledge to implement meaningful solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience.
§ Passion for Oracle and learning new database technology
§ BS or BA degree in a related field required, unless there is relevant work experience.
§ Full understanding of relational database architecture and programming of stored procedures and triggers.
§ Limited PL/SQL programming expertise
§ Strong background in full lifecycle development using multiple platforms or languages.
§ Ability to interact at a technical and non-technical level with Infrastructure, Network, Development, BA and QA teams.
§ Solid understanding and hands-on skills in relational database architecture and design patterns.
Additional experience that is a plus:
§ NoSQL especially Cassandra
§ Automotive Knowledge of Git/ Mercurial, Jenkins
RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Ability to create detailed schema designs based on requirements.
§ Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal assistance from executive management
§ Ability to oversee multiple databases and enforce standards and best practices
§ Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and execute efficiently
§ Ability to manage conflict effectively
§ Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
