JO TITLE: Sr. Teradata Developer  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: see below TERM: 4 months plus! 3RD PARTY / H1 OK? Yes CLIENT HIRE BY REMOTE IV OR SKYPE? Yes LOCATION: Merchandising Group SIZZLE:  National retail organization is seeking an Sr. Teradata Developer to join their team for a 4 month special project.  Skills Required: 5 to 7 years experience in application systems development. Experience in Windows-based application development environments. Minimum of 5 years programming experience in VB 6.0 technology. Minimum of three years' programming experience in writing complex SQL (Teradata SQL a plus).  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to analyze data and data relationships.  Ability to translate both business requirements and technical details. Ability to independently design programs and test plans.  Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel, Project. ASP/VB dot-Net, VBScript, Excel VBA, HTML, XML, Teradata, Teradata Utilities, Teradata SQL Assistant.  Technical Skills: JCL, TSO, ROSCOE, ENDEVOR, CPMA , Data Warehousing, Data Modeling Experience.  Strong testing skills: DB2, DATACOM, COBOL, Java, Both Mainframe and Client/Server experience.
