Role: Java Architect

Location: Salt Lake city ,UT

Duration: CTH/C2C/ Fulltime

Rate: Max $65/hr on C2C

Job Description
•    + years of software development experience
•    1+ years in a leadership or staff engineer role
•    2+ years architecture or high level design role
•    Online Retail/ecommerce experience
•    Strong skills in Java SE 5.0 or greater or Java EE 5.0 or greater
•    Strong database and SQL experience, preferably with Oracle 10g or later
•    Proficiency in Object Oriented design and programming, and Design Patterns
•    Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tools such as Hibernate
•    Experience in mentoring Java Developers in design and/or development
•    Experience building and designing asynchronous, message driven systems with JMS
•    Expertise with enterprise grade build, continuous integration and artifact management systems, e.g. Maven, Hudson/Jenkins and Nexus
•    XML and related technologies such as XSD, JAXB, XSLT, etc
•    Experience building web services, especially using the REST style
•    Use of web container technologies such as Tomcat
•    Proficiency testing software using JUnit/TestNG and mocking, integration testing, regression testing and state coverage testing
•    Strong Linux/Unix skills
•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar technical field or equivalent experience, Advanced degree preferred.
•    Experience using web presentation technologies such as JSP, JSF, Ajax, Jamon, Velocity, or FreeMarker

Desired Skills: Desired Skills (Nice to have)
·         AS2 ( EDI Specification)
·         JMS – Weblogic (Provider, Consumer)
·         JMeter/Selenium
·         Caching Techniques like EhCache
·         Drools (or any Rule Engine)
·         Working on Linux/Ubuntu Dev Environment
·         Working on Agile Environment
·         Usage of tools like JIRA, SQL developer
