Skill Set:

• Leverage vendor frameworks (.NET, J2EE) and capabilities to meet business-defined processes.

• Create technical designs and perform peer code reviews.

• Analyze, design, develop, test and implement web applications using Microsoft.NET Framework and .NET Class libraries.

• ASP.NET (Server Controls).

• ASP.NET MVC 2/3/4

• C#

• DHTML (JavaScript, CSS, DOM)

• Visual Studio.Net

• SQL Server 2008 / 2012 (Store Procedures)

• Active Directory (ADSI)

• UML

• XML/XSLT

• ASP.NET

• Microsoft patterns and practices from .NET Architecture Center

• Team Foundation Server code management

• Sharepoint development experience is a major plus

Job Functions:

• Create and maintain Application Engineering project plan (including work breakdown structure) where necessary

• Manage Application Engineering resources assigned to the project

• Provide appropriate development cost and resource estimates for all applicable phases of planned project (including ROMs/Estimates)

• Research and evaluate alternative technical solutions and propose the most efficient and cost-effective solution

• Maintain adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.

• Prepare documentation and provide guidance on how to transition the solution to production.

• Adhere to Application Engineering methodologies and standards

• Perform code reviews and identify issues and manage remediation activities

• Translate Solution Architect's vision (Solution Architecture Document) into more detailed design documents like HLD/LLD.

• Work closely with application architects, technical architects, Support Teams, Information Security, DBAs and Windows Admins to ensure project needs are being coordinated.

• Assist with development efforts where necessary (i.e. proof of concept, ad hoc report, etc.)
