Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills "Install, upgrade, maintain and support Unix infrastructure
Design, planning, management and operational support of Unix environment.
Maintain a comprehensive library of all Unix support documentation. Serves as the first line of defense against intrusion and inadvertent system damage.
Ensures data integrity by maintaining appropriate software and hardware solutions.
Maintain and support services/applications under Unix team responsibility
Monitor the Unix/VMware infrastructure and take proactive actions when needed.
Enforce technical and security standards for Unix/VMware infrastructures and services.
Contribute to document and review standards and operational procedures
Participate and act as project manager for Unix/VMware infrastructures delegated projects and providing regular updates on schedule and issues.
Conducts routine hardware and software audits of UNIX servers for compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines and procedures
Build autonomy on delegated activities
Follow internal processes at all time (ITIL, time tracking, escalation ...)
Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge"
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills "Strong understanding of I.T. infrastructure, banking environment and communication
In-depth knowledge of various flavours of Unix operating systems (Red Hat Linux & Solaris 10)
In-depth Knowledge of Networker
In-depth knowledge of High Availability tools (cluster)
In-depth knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Shell) and methodology
Knowledge of VMWare platform
Team player, positive attitude, good communicator, friendly personality able to work in a multicultural environment
Able to work individually, organize and manage own tasks"
Total experience in required skill (years) 6+ years
Work Location Phoenix - Arizona
Duration 6 Months - 1 Year
