Role : Customer Interaction Management (CIM) Manual Test Engineer
Location: 6months
Duration : Long Term
Interview : Phone and Face to face ( LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFFERED )
Summary Description:
Ø The candidate will be responsible for manual execution of test cases.
Ø They will be well versed in working in and contributing to a fully agile development and testing process.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Ø Working within the Test Engineering Organization in executing manual test cases.
Ø Ability to effectively write repeatable manual test cases.
Ø Participate in Agile development processes.
Ø Assist product engineers in the identification and resolution of product defects.
Ø Provide recommendations/suggestions for improving testing efficiency
Skills & Attributes:
Ø The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communications skills (speaking and writing), excellent analytical skills, ability to plan and organize.
Ø The successful candidate will have experience in software product development environments.
Ø The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of best practices as well as experience testing scenarios on various platforms using combination of custom tools and/or commercial products.
Basic Qualifications:
Ø BS, CS or relevant, related experience
Ø Software test and/or engineering experience, including but not limited to:
Ø relational database environments and test methodologies
Ø Functional and regression testing
Ø Good understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies
Ø Experience with web based technologies including HTTP, browsers and related testing
Preferences:
Ø Experience in an Agile development process, such as XP, Scrum, etc.
Ø Experience with Jira.
Ø Should be comfortable on various operating systems, including Linux and Windows environment
Ø Should be comfortable with database technologies including but not limited to SQL queries, db setup and configuration, etc.
