SAP OTC /Vistex Consultant – need 5 years SD/Vistex experience

Start: ASAP

Duration: Long term - up to 4 years

Location: San Francisco, CA



This position is to provide production support in an SAP environment. The candidate will be Sr. SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Functional Consultant (with very strong knowledge in the area of Vistex) on the support team which insures the successful operation of production systems.

The team includes client staff / end users. Resource will report to SAP Delivery Manager.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Support of the SAP SD Module

Support of the SAP / Vistex Functionality



Experience in SAP Paybacks and Chargebacks:



Create a variety of contract agreements with multiple manufacturers and end users

Process claims using electronic data interchange (EDI), flat files, a Web portal, or manual entry using fast-entry tools

Validate contract agreements

Settle payback and chargeback documents based on flexible settlement parameters

Settle accrued rebate expenses, with automatic reversal of accruals, to SAP accounts receivable or accounts payable software

Easily reconcile and resolve disputes

Use multiple currencies and units of measure

Report rebate claim and plan/performance tracking to management and plan participants through standard reports, a Web portal, or ad hoc reporting tools

Establish a full-audit trail for the entire chargeback life cycle to support corporate accounting and compliance efforts

Use analytical and simulation functionality to evaluate and promote desirable programs and model new programs



QUALIFICATIONS:



Minimum of 5 yrs of hands-on SAP SD / Vistex experience

Strong in SD pricing, OTC, LIS and general SD configuration

Participated in multiple Vistex implementations

Excellent communication and client handling skills

SD technical skills / ABAP a plus



EDUCATION:



BA/BS degree in Computer Science or technically related field required.
