Role Title
Operations Competence Centre (OCC) SAP Basis
Accountabilities
• Team member of the Operations Competence Centre Functional Modules
• Provide Operational Excellence for EVO in the SAP Basis
• Work with EVO Support Partner, assess operational quality, identify gaps, and manage closure of gaps in SAP Basis area, including
o Ensure effective Error Trend Analysis and Problem Management
o Work in OCC SAP Basis Modules team and provide missing functional and operational expertise for Major Incident Management and support EVO Support Partner to close their knowledge gaps
o Ensure SAP functional best practices are adhered to during Incident and Problem investigation and resolution
o Ensure that the system documentation is updated in SolMAn with the right level of quality when changes are made.
o Provide support of Major Incident Management and ensure timely resolution of Major Incidents
o Provide guidance through the OCC SAP Basis Modules team on feasibility and appropriateness of proposed incident & problem resolutions when alternative solutions are available
o Provide capability to perform incident & problem management resolution activities as appropriate in exceptional circumstances
o Provide appropriate Ensure appropriate assessment of SAP OSS notes with regard to relevance for EVO Operations
o Keep update with all the new demand implemented on the system
• Ensure assessment and improvement of Operational Procedures
• Perform effective Weekly Operational Review with Support Partner functional module teams
• Analyse functional Incidents
o Identify tasks to be moved to the EVO Service Desk
o Identify functional and regression testing required to prevent similar issues
Other Responsibilities
• Status reporting to OCC SAP Basis
• Availability for Major Incident Management out of hours
• Support OCC Basis team to perform detailed planning & project management of implementation activities for updates & patching where required on functional module level

• Provide input to weekly Top 10 Issue list and review meeting report with support partner by functional area
• Proposal for Incident resolution for functional issues to be moved to the EVO Service Desk
• Incident and Problem Backlog Reduction per functional area
• Demonstrate reduction in incidents caused by missing definition and adherence to procedures
• Demonstrate reduction in recurring incidents
Expected Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
• Proven SAP operations expertise of minimum five years or more.
