Title: Sr. Java Developer
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 12 months
Only 9+ Years Candidate
Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements analysis, design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reliable software applications that operate 24x7
- Hands-on participation in coding, maintenance of software applications
- Manage team's projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with technical expertise
- Review code and mentor team members on engineering best practices, coding standards
- Represent team during cross functional feature implementation/process discussions
- Lead troubleshooting during production escalations
- Maintain documentation of all applications, changes
- Identify and adapt new technologies to help with strategic improvements of quality, productivity
- Must be able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Required skills:
- Java/JEE
- AWS
- MuleSoft ESB
- Web services
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in application development involving all phases of SDLC
- Proficient in Java, Spring, Struts, JUnit, object-oriented programming, web services, design patterns
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based applications in AWS
- Working experience with MuleSoft ESB (Community Edition 2.x) applications
- Experience with relational database concepts, SQL queries, NoSQL
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix and Windows environments
- Experience with large distributed architecture applications involving several enterprise systems
- Knowledge/Experience with micro services, Kafka, Docker is a plus
- Knowledge of application server configurations, memory/connection management, large distributed architectures
- Several years of proven success as a technical team leader
- Very strong analytical, debugging skills
- Good written and verbal communication
