C++ Developer
Austin, TX
6+ Months
The worker, an Imaging System Developer, will be primarily responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and building a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) to assign unique identification numbers associated with digitized documents as they are scanned.
Additional project tasks may include but are not limited to:
Building form templates
Validate engine components and stored procedures.
The worker must have an extensive knowledge and comfort performing all phases of the development cycle; ensuring the integrity, optimization and completeness of the finished product.
Particular familiarity with Windows 7 is essential, as well as an expert understanding of secure development practices (including authentication, authorization, confidentiality, data-integrity, non-repudiation, and availability). The worker must be able to follow software development processes, a detailed project plan and generate work estimates.
The worker must be able to take assignments and direction from agency management and technical lead staff.Onsite
Requirements:
Worker will be required to work on site with the team.
Working remotely will be limited and must be pre-approved by the Project Manager and Direct Supervisor
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to work in a diverse team environment. Knowledge of project management and software development methodologies
Must possess problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
Must be able to work around projects and deadlines with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary Perform related work as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
8 Experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions utilizing C++.
8 Experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions utilizing C#.
8 Demonstrated proficiency with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Microsoft Windows programming environment.
5 Knowledge of advanced level programming in C++ including multithreading, thread synchronization, multi-processing and concurrency.
5 Experience working with enterprise software solutions.
5 Extensive experience with highly complex security application requirements
Preferences:
4 Experience working with digital imaging systems, capture software, document repositories.
2 Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 or above, Visual Studio Online and/or Team Foundation Server.
2 Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
2 Skillful with the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Outlook, Skype, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
One or more Microsoft certifications (Microsoft Professional, Microsoft Certified Professional Developer, Microsoft Certified Solution Developer
