Job Title: SAP FICO Team Lead / Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Experience: 8+ Years

Location: Pune

Job Type: Full-time / Permanent / Contract


Key Responsibilities:

1) Lead a team of SAP FICO consultants in implementation, rollout, and support projects.

2) Drive the end-to-end delivery of SAP FICO solutions including requirement 3) gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and support.

4) Collaborate with business leaders, finance controllers, and IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable FICO solutions.

5) Provide functional leadership in FI (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting) and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA).

6) Manage cross-functional integration with other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, and HR.

7) Mentor and guide junior consultants, review their configurations and deliverables, and provide training as needed.

8) Conduct design workshops and lead solution architecture for finance transformation projects.

9) Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP, BASIS, Security) for custom development, performance tuning, and security roles.

Lead data migration and data validation activities.

10) Prepare and review key project documentation – Functional Specs, Test Scripts, User Manuals, and Training Materials.

11) Ensure timely issue resolution, SLA adherence, and quality delivery in support scenarios.

12) Stay up to date on SAP S/4HANA innovations, best practices, and roadmap.


Required Skills and Experience:

1) Minimum 8 years of SAP FICO experience including at least 2 end-to-end implementations and experience in support and rollout projects.

2) Strong configuration skills in FI and CO sub-modules.

3) Experience in leading small to mid-sized teams and managing project deliverables.

4) Excellent knowledge of finance business processes, accounting standards, and integration points.

5) Hands-on experience in S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.

6) Good understanding of interfaces, data migration tools (LSMW, BDC, etc.), and reporting tools.

7) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

1) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or IT.

2) SAP Certification in FICO or S/4HANA Finance (preferred).

3) Experience with Agile/Hybrid delivery methodologies.

4) Exposure to Treasury, Group Reporting, FSCM, or Central Finance is a plus.

5) Experience working in global environments with multi-country rollout experience.
