Skillset Required:
Extensive history designing, coding, implementing, and supporting Infrastructure/Operations-side automation solutions in a corporate environment.
Expert/Guru-level Unix shell scripting abilities (bash, korn, …).
Experience and familiarity with one or more of the following languages: Perl, Python, Ruby
Full knowledge of and experience with all aspects of Linux system administration.
Creative problem solver with excellent diagnostic abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to support some off-hour operations as needed.
Strong Plus:
Familiarity with Chef devops tool.
Familiarity with managing a Chef enterprise environment.
Familiarity with developing and deploying Chef cookbooks
Versed in the Ruby language
Additional Pluses:
Familiarity with HP Operations Orchestration and/or HP Server Automation
Willingness to learn, use and support these HP tools
Familiarity on creating new RPM packages
