Location :  Lansing, MI

Duration: 12 months

Rate : $50/hr on C2C

Skills Required : Java Developer with J2EE, EJB, JSP, Servlets, SQL, Struts, JavaScript, J-Query, GAAP, Accounting, RSA, RAD, RDBMS, Testing, SDLC, Healthcare Insurance, HIPAA, EDI and Public Retirement systems Experience

Job Description : Experience in Finance and Payments in the following areas:

• Accounting principles

• Understanding the general ledger

• Knowledge in GAAP (Generally accepted accounting principles),

• Cash receipts, Cash reconciliation, Account payables, Account receivables,

• Invoice, Billing, revenue\expense recording, cash allocation and payment processing

• Reporting requirement for 401k and 457 plans

• History with Pension Plans

• Reporting requirements for pension plans

• Clarity experience preferred Plus

• 4+ years experience analyzing business requirements, generating project specifications, converting specifications into code, and applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.

• 4+ years experience developing technical designs in consultation with other technical experts.

• 4+ years experience in the following development and design tools or equivalent;

• Rational Software Architect RSA or RAD or other Eclipse based • UML Modeling Tools

• Hyperion or Crystal Reports (or SQL Reporting Tool) • Perforce, CVS or SVN

• 4+ years experience with IBM WebSphere and/or BEA Weblogic web application servers

• 4+ years experience in RDBMS developing data model database triggers, procedures, packages and functions in the following: ? Microsoft SQL Server

• 4+ years experience developing unit and system test plans, test data and scripts for application validation and verification.

• 4+ years experience performing extensive analysis and design working on projects of all sizes that require exposure to all aspects of the project life cycle and creating and maintaining documentation in conformance with established standards.

• 4+ years experience working with application/solution architects to set direction of design and development for application development projects.

• 4+ years experience evaluating user requests for new programs or modified program components to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current systems, and computer capabilities.

• 4+ years experience performing peer reviews of developed code to insure conformity to standards and design best practices.

• 4+ years experience reviewing technical designs and specifications for completeness and conformance to quality standards, especially as a mentor to less experienced developers.

• 4+ years experience analyzing business requirements, generating project specifications and converting them into code, and applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.

• 4+ years experience working with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts

• 4+ years experience conducting system test

• 4+ years experience in verbal and written communication with clients in English

• Experience working in a team environment

• Experience in troubleshooting, problem solving and debugging.

• Ability to work under pressure and in tight deadlines.

• Analyze business requirements, generate project specifications and convert specifications into code, develop technical designs in consultation with other technical experts Code Solutions following technical design and apply knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages.

• Develop unit test plans, test data and scripts for application validation and verification.

• Work with application/solution architects/java programmer analyst to set direction of design and development for application development projects.

• Perform peer reviews of developed solutions and code to insure conformity to standards and design best practices. Review technical designs and specifications for completeness and conformance to quality standards, especially as a mentor to less experienced developers

Experience Required - Programmer-Analyst capabilities with 4 or more years of experience,
