Role: SQL Developer
Location: Manhattan, New York City(10023)
Duration:6+ Months CTH
Interview: Phone then In-Person
Client: ASCAP(Direct)
Only GC/Citizens
This is a 6 month contract position, with an option to extend or hire
Responsibilities:
· Work with product management and architecture to design and construct new services/enhance and maintain existing applications.
· Provide senior-level development and design contributions including guidance in formulating requirements, evaluation of technical architecture, and make recommendations of the optimum approach to meet the functional and non-functional requirements.
· Collaborate with project team members to informally arbitrate technical matters
Technical Skills:
· Mid-level Microsoft SQL Server developer, skilled in:
· SSIS
· Strong SQL skills is a must
· File processing and batch processing
· UI support
· Technical skills: SQL Server, SSIS, C#, Visual Studio, VB.NET, VB6, Crystal Reports, XML.
· 6-7 years demonstrated experience in Microsoft/.Net technologies
· Database connectivity/SQL Server experience is a must (Oracle knowledge a plus)
· Knowledge of ASP.NET/JavaScript is highly desirable.
· Experience using version control software (TFS preferred).
· Hands on experience with commonly used design patterns and practices.
Must have good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
This individual will be working in an agile framework, keeping track of tasks and reporting status in scrum meetings.
Will be working on site at the ASCAP offices in Manhattan, New York City
