IDEAL BACKGROUND: Big data experience, specifically Talend, Hive views, Pig Scripting, ORC tables.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
(Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
- code in Talend to extract data from hadoop environment and send to MDM stage
- create quality rules in Talend
- execute Talend performance jobs
- tune Talend jobs for optimization
Fluent in Talend; understanding of Hive, ORC tables, Java, and Pig Scripting
Nice to have Data stage/ quality stage
Project Work: PRJ44357 Individual MDM Optum Big Data Platform (OBDP).
In general Individual MDM is extracting from a Hadoop stack as the main point of ingestion and OBDP has
dictated we use Talend (over IBM Data Stage).
