Description:
- Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, and implements complex programs in support of small system enhancements and production support defects; develops/updates appropriate programs and systems documentation according to established standard systems delivery methodology. Adheres to all organizational and IT policies and process for software development and project management.
- Develops technical design specifications based on functional requirements; develops and maintains web based applications.
- Builds and maintains systems with current technologies while leveraging and expanding system capabilities. Conducts decision support systems tests, monitors test results, identifies appropriate issues and takes corrective action.
- Provides creative solutions to moderately complex, cross platform technical problems, partnering with customers to establish requirement and closing the gaps identified in the project.
- Provides onsite support for the processing cycles of production systems.
- Participates in system development planning and monitoring; supports and enhances existing systems; actively participates in structured walkthroughs and technical reviews. Provides technical direction and coaching to Associate Software Developers in application development activities.
- Partner effectively with IT team and business partners for supporting existing applications through varying communication channels

Technical Skills Required
- 3+ years of hands on experience with each of the following
- Java development
- JavaScript, jQuery, jQuery plugins, HTML
- J2EE
- Database DB2 (primary), Oracle, SQL Server Logical experience
- Web application servers JBoss, WebLogic
- Knowledge of or experience with Adobe Acrobat, PDFs, PDF forms, FDF, Acrobat Reader, iText PDF creator software
- CSV and XML files
- Working in Agile environments
- Full development life cycle including deployment and support needs
- Communication skills internal and external customer facing
