Role – Database and Storage Engineer
Location – Austin, TX
Duration – : 12 Months Contract

Description:
· Assist records management staff with on-going operations of the records management/ERM system and program activities that include the following:
· Provide training to peers, management and support group personnel in the use of Records Management systems
· Represents Records Management and Information Governance on Information Technology project teams, maintains good working relationships with all IT personnel responsible for planning and / or executing information governance support, and works collaboratively with IT to meet project deadlines and deliver concrete results.
· Candidate will help with data storage protocols and then also manage retrieval of data as needed and in the format as needed
Experience/Skills
· Candidate will manage data and archival using IBM tools (such as Atlas, Stored IQ, Optum and IBM data repositories)
· Database and archival knowledge essential
· Technical knowledge of database and handling is essential
· Understands record management and regulations for banking data storage

· Ability to explain complex and/or technical topics relating to information governance to those who have no prior knowledge of the systems and policies is a must.? ?
· Expert proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio is required and intermediate MS Access proficiency is required.? ?
· Aptitude and interest in information technologies, critical thinking, change management, and project management is a must? ?
· Familiarity with eDiscovery and litigation processes? ?
· PSS Atlas, CMOD or P8 experience a plus

· Experience in Open Source tool/framework (SpagoBI, Tomcat, MySql, JasperReport, BIRT, Weka, JPivot, Kettle, Hadoop etc.) is a plus
