USG direct client is looking for Storage Lead at Redmond, WA

Mandatory Technical Skills:-

· "10+ Years of experience in storage infrastructure & 5 + Years as storage lead.

Expertise In:-

· HDDs - Storage with combination of SSDs, SAS/nl SAS, SATA HDDs

· Cache requirements

· Protocol - FCOE

· Ports – FC ports, iSCSI ports,

· De-Duplication

· RAIDs – 0,1,4,5,6,DP

· Clustering – HA

· SAN MAC Work (LUN, Storage Groups Creations/Deletions etc.)

· Zone Creations in SAN Switch

· Work experience in NetApp/EMC/HP/Hitachi/Cisco UCS etc. Storages

· SAN Storage troubleshooting, Provide RCA on major failures

· Storage Report Generation

· Storage provisioning to the servers(Physical/Virtual)

· Install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade and replace storage controllers, disk shelves, etc.

· Perform firmware upgrades for arrays & switches

· Storage sizing, initial deployment

· Storage life cycle management

· Perform space management, administer NAS and iSCSI storages, and provide proactive reports

· Perform/assist movement of storages within and outside data center"

Desirable Technical Skills:-

· Monitor alerts for critical storages

· Work with Vendor for SAN hardware replacements

· Manage logging of cases with vendor and follow-up for troubleshooting

· Knowledge physical servers & Hyper-v configuration related to storage LUN presentation "
