Role: BMC ADDM Developer/Admin (Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping)

Location – San Jose, CA

Duration – 6 months contract to hire

Job Description:

·         Need to populate the CMDB from ADDM, one of the source of data flowing into CMDB.

·         Challenge is that, for example HP , Hewlett Packard , HP Inc. could be various names for HP, so rules need to be written to translate into one standard name, basically reconciliation of the various names into one via business rules writing in ADDM.

·         In CMDB, data comes up and it needs to be normalized, since there are various sources supplying the same information into CMDB.

 

·         Need of de-duplication of these records, still keep the good fields, throw the duplicate records away.

·         Need someone with strong ADDM skills, who can write 80% of the rules in ADDM to help deliver data normalization, data cleaning and de-duplication of data coming into CMDB from various sources.
