JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Duties:
Project and website they will be working on: Application Design and Development Services for consumer facing applications managed by the Kia Interactive Marketing team. Site url's are Kia.com and the CPU (certified pre owned) and the MyUVO sites.
PRIMARY ROLE:
Server side Javascript Web development with all the new Responsive design web technologies below
The responsibilities include:
90% of the job is hands on Web Development, Code construction and unit testing focusing on Javascript "server side technologies NodeJS" and on the ExpressJS framework
Participate in strategy sessions for user requirements and be responsible for some level of documentation
Updating relevant documentation as per the KMA processes
TOP 3 Must have's:
Must be a Javascript expert and have minimum 1 year with Angular.js. expertise
Minimum of one year experience working with server-side Javascript technology specifically Node.js. having developed web applications on the Express.js framework.
Responsive design websites and have implemented isomorphic Javascript concepts and solutions in the past .
Must have the following experience:
JavaScript Expert with SERVER SIDE experience ( i.e. NodeJS) and ExpressJS framework
jQuery Expert
Some Angular JS experience REQUIRED
RESPONSIVE web design experience
HTML5 semantics
CSS3 using Less or SASS
Working knowledge of Grunt is preferred
Excellent communication skills
Local candidate preferred/ BUT might hire off skype
Large consumer website experience a MUST
