Web Application Developer - DRUPAL
Location: New York City
Duration: 4-‐6 Months -‐ Contact to Full Time Conversion
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Web Application Developer who will be responsible for design, implementation and support for our growing portfolio f applications.
Drupal 7 experience is a must, along with full-‐stack technical depth in order to provide and demonstrate technical leadership strength.
Qualifications:
· 5 years of relevant experience in delivering line of business applications.
· BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
· Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical and aggressive project timelines in a fast-‐paced environment.
· Posses the maturity to assess the urgency of an issue and understand when to escalate a problem.
· Individual should be verbally articulate and creative.
· Demonstrated excellent written communication
· skill.
· Individual should have development life cycle experience.
· Experience with scrum/agile a huge plus.
· A proven delivery track record that is on time and within budget.
· Must be an active member in tech communities and demonstrate contributions.
Technical Skills:
· Programming: PHP, Java, C#, C++, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, node.js, CSS3, Sass, SQL
· Platforms/Frameworks: .NET, J2EE, Symfony, Angular, Kendo
· System Admiration: Unix, Linux, Windows, IIS, Apache/Tomcat
· Techniques/Protocols: HTTP[S], AJAX, Web API, JSON, OData
· Database: MySQL, Oracle, DB2, UDB, SQLite, MongoDB (or similar NoSQL)
· IDEs: Visual Studio, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Web Matrix, Sublime Text
· Source Control: TFS, Git, Subversion
· Content Management Systems: Drupal, Wordpress
· Analytics: WebTrends, Adobe Analytics/Target, Google
· Architecture: n-‐Tier platforms, memcache, redis, opcache, CDN's, Load Testing and Tuning
