Job Description:

·         The release manager position provides cross-functional and cross-departmental leadership to ensure efficient methods for release management across Global IT. 

·         The release manager is involved in the development and management of the policies and procedures for release management and production transition.

·         The release manager will ensure that all of the major procedures are being followed including: build and configure, test and accept, schedule and plan, communicate, prepare testing, the deployment of releases and production transition. 

·         The release manager position communicates regularly with the higher level management and project managers.
