Job Description:
The Senior Salesforce Developer will work closely with a team of Developers by mentoring them on Design, develop, test and deployment of high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices as well as business needs to ensure the timely and effective delivery of Salesforce requirements by delivering and managing all aspects of Salesforce.com including configuration, customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integration.
- Has proven experience with Visualforce, APEX programming, force.com APIs.
- Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
- Manage the process of implementing improvements and new functionality in SFDC application
- Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
- Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding assigned tasks
- Research integration issues and work closely with team members to ensure its timely resolution
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of applications
- Facilitate continuous improvement within the environment
Technical Requirements
- 7-8 years' experience working in IT out of which 3-5 years should have development experience with Force.com, APEX, Visual Force and other related technologies
- Must have historical and proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services
- Required Salesforce Developer and Administrator certification.
- Salesforce Advanced Developer certification is a plus
- Applications architect experience is a plus
- Experience with ANT deployments is a plus
Others
- Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
- Experience with SQL and any Object Oriented language (Java or .net)
- Experience with an Agile development methodology and Agile project teams
