Skills Required and Job Description:
Platform customization and Continuous Integration System bring up for an android based IP STB project. Following are the responsibilities.
· Bring-up of OEM STB stack
· Android framework/middleware libraries customization based on new feature requirement
· Defect analysis and resolution
· Integration of android application to the Android build system
· Setting up of Continuous Integration System (installation of identified CI tools, creation of workflows)
· Continuous Integration System maintenance
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years of experience in platform development
Preferred Skills
Must Have:
Linux, C / C++
Android framework
Scripting – Shell scripting , Python
STB domain background
Tools – Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Agile methodologies
Desirable :
Familiar with cloud based server system programming
IP STB knowledge
