Job Title: PeopleSoft Developer
Location: Albany, NY
Duration : 36 months
Job Description:
Application Developer to work with implementation vendors and the Application Development team to manage and execute application development efforts.
This will entail using tools available (e.g., PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Unix Scripting, COBOL, Phire, etc.) to coordinate data analysis, technical solution design, programming, data mapping, data conversion and data bridging activities.
Mandatory Requirements:
At least 4 years of technical programming with PeopleSoft using at least 3 or more of the following toolsets:SQL, XML, SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PS/Query, Datamover, Application Engine, Component Interface and Application Designer
At least 1 prior engagement developing PeopleSoft online applications and customization interfaces
2 years of experience in using Oracle 10.x or higher database
2 years of experience in using PeopleTools 8.x and higher
Candidates must have participated in at least one PeopleSoft upgrade where the candidate was responsible for performing technical analysis, coding, and testing for the upgrade
Knowledge using STAT or Phire for migrations
2 years of experience tuning code for performance issues
2 years of experience creating technical design documents and unit test scripts
2 years of experience re-applying customizations to delivered PeopleSoft pages
2 years of experience Cobol Programming
2 years of experience in Toad
2 years of experience using Integration Tools – Web services
Desired Experience:
Experience in PeopleSoft applications of HCM,CRM or Financials 9.1 or higher,
Experience in Java and/or JavaScript is a plus;
Experience with BI publisher is a plus
Experience in Integration Broker is a plus; and
Experience in IT application development environments within a public pension system is a plus.
