Job Description:
This position will be responsible for Database Installation/Configuration/Maintenance in SQL 2005/2008 and 2012- Services must be available to install and configure, upgrade, maintain and tune various databases.
Role and Responsibilities
• Development of database architecture diagrams.
• Database upgrades/migration plans.
• Database Performance trouble shooting including T-SQL queries.
• Data migrations between systems.
• Database performance tuning and index maintenance/optimization.
• Work with Systems Engineering to design enterprise database storage solutions.
• Patch updates.
• Backup/maintenance plans.
• Capacity and performance planning.
• User access maintenance.
• Backup/recovery testing procedure.
• Coding and review of complex code in T-SQL.
