Title : Oracle Apps DBA
Location : CT
Duration : Long Term
Minimum Requirements
8+ years experience in database administration
1) Minimum 6+ year experience with hands-on Oracle 11g, 10g(Basic exposure to 12 C would be a plus)
2) 6 or more years working with DataGuard configuration and support
3) Strong experience with RAC(6+ years), load balancing, failover, workload management capabilities, ASM, Performance tuning, configuration, and monitoring
Knowledge & Skills
Minimum 6+ year experience with hands-on Oracle 11g, 10g
Experience with Oracle 12c is a plus
Minimum 4+ years experience with logical/physical data design
Minimum 5+ years production experience with SQL, instance, database tuning
MS SQL Server experience in standalone and cluster environment is a plus
Strong experience with RAC(6+ years), load balancing, failover, workload management capabilities, ASM
Strong experience with DataGuard configuration and support
Experience with RMAN, Oracle Grid Control 12c (OEM): monitoring, job scheduling, etc.
Strong experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting
Experience working with Oracle support
Experience with Exadata is a plus
