Role: System Engineer with Broadcast, broadband video delivery on IPTV & Satellite systems , CDN, Cloud experience

Location: El Segundo

Client: Wipro/DirecTV

Role and responsibilities
You are a passionate senior systems engineer who has a penchant for solving complex and interesting problems. You love to:
1. Specify high level system flow
2. Specify components interaction and interface
3. Support the QA team for features and performance tests
4. Strong experience in Broadcast, broadband video delivery on IPTV & Satellite systems.
5. Knowledge of building system requirements & architecture for Video head-end applications such as Content Management Systems, Video streaming to STB & mobile clients.
6. Experience in Business Systems Analysis, Requirements Elaboration and high-level architectural designs
7. Understand & interface with server, cloud, CDN infrastructure teams and to be able to frame technical & functional specifications.
8. Research and stay on top of industrial development of CDN, cloud, server technologies and trends
Qualifications:
1. 8+ years of experience in large scale systems engineering
2. Knowledge of CDN, cloud & server infrastructure
3. Knowledge of architecture principles and design patterns
4. Knowledge of network and systems protocols and architecture
5. BS, MS in Computer Science or related disciplines (or equivalent)
6. Good at communication and writing
